Boomerang Bags are ready at the Northfield Senior Center!

WOW did people donate fabric!  We have the most lovely Boomerang Bags around!
You can stop by the Northfield Senior Center or the Used A Bit Shoppe and pick up a "take-n-sew" pack or grab a finished bag to use.
We are helping reduce our use of plastic bags in Northfield.

Watch for more fabric donation times at the Northfield Library & Senior centers early in 2018.

Welcome!

If you are-
-concerned about our environment
-want to make a difference
-want to help stop our reliance on plastic
YOU HAVE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE!

Our first project is Northfield Boomerang Bags, where we use donated fabric and volunteers make up "take-n-sew kits" for people to take and sew the bags for the Northfield Public Library.   The Friends of the Library and the Northfield Public Library sponsor the project. There are more than 500 bags circulating at the library- slowly replacing the need for the plastic library bags.

Our second project is to bring Boomerang Bags out into the wider Northfield community.
We will be partnering with the Northfield Senior Center and the Used A Bit Shop as another fabric donation site and "take-n-sew" kit creation times.
